FROM THE ARCHIVE: Independent Crossbencher Baroness Chapman was filmed in Trafalgar Square trying to hail a taxi in order to highlight the difficulties that many wheelchair users experience. The filming was shown every hour on BBC1�s Breakfast programme. She also took part in a studio discussion before putting an Oral Question in the House of Lords which asked the Government when the provisions relating to wheelchair users and taxis in the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act, would be brought into force.
